Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company

Woodland Sky will perform at the Band Shell at 6:45 – 7:30 pm

Brought back by popular demand, Michelle and her son, Hunter Reed, and narrator and dancer, Ronnie Preston, with the Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company will perform again at WAM Fest. The Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company is a theatrical, authentic performance with Native American Ojibwe, Menominee, Potawatomi, Lakota and Apache dancers. This year the dancers have added the Hoop dance that is said to have originated with the Taos Pueblo people. More recently the hoop dance has spread throughout the United States and has become popular with other tribes.
