While a Green Bay City Police Officer in the 1970’s, Matt Brunette began a country band called Side Pork. After relocating to California, he played with the Chuck Willis Band and the Santa Fe Stage Band for more than 30 years. Three years ago, he relocated to Arizona where Matt has been doing solo performances and playing with the Blue Line #7, a band he started to perform a Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings Tribute as well as perform other classic country music. Matt played in more bars, honky tonks, and saloons than he’d care to remember. He even played at the Tropicana in Laughlin, NV a few times. Matt returns to his Wisconsin roots every summer to visit family and friends. He does solo acts at local bars and eateries from Crivitz to Green Bay with a lot of Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings vibes.
