The Wabeno Art and Music (WAM) Fest is proud to announce that the 7th Annual Wabeno Art and Music Fest will be held on July 16th, 2022. The annual event features the Historic Wabeno Art Exhibit and Gallery from June 10-September 5th at the Wabeno Logging Museum and then a day of music and festivities under the big top at the Firefighters Park and Grounds on Fairview Ave in downtown Wabeno on July 16, 2022. Our outdoor venue will be protected from the weather under a large blue and white tent, next to the park pavilions.
Last years’ Wabeno Art Challenge was a huge success and evolved into a summer long Art Exhibit and Gallery at the Wabeno Logging Museum. The mission of the Art Exhibit is to promote the arts in and for our local area communities, giving artists an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a public forum. The Wabeno Logging Museum Art Exhibit hours are 10:30am-4:30pm from June 10th to September 5th. For more information, click here.
The free Wabeno Art and Music Fest, a one day event, is on July16th, and will feature musical performances by local and regional artists, native dancers, featured local vendors, art activities plus a wide variety of food and beverages. And yes the cream puffs and waffle fruit bowls will be back!
The WAM Fest Headliner band, back by popular demand, is the Piper Road Spring Street Band. Piper Road was born in the age of rock & roll with individual backgrounds diverse as classical, cowboy, folk, blues and Dixieland and their music reflects their experiences.
Piper Road has performed with Dolly Parton, Earl Scruggs, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Marty Stuart, Vince Gill and Roy Orbison; to name a few. They have performed at scores of festivals and universities around the country and in the Netherlands, France, England and Lithuania.
Mark your calendars and join us this summer!
